Seems simple enough but I cannot merge two notebooks into one.  Please advise.

There is no "merge" function   1731868945_ScreenShot2021-01-19at18_28_18.png.76c3ed078e94c84e5c29b39ece82c3ef.png
Select the notes and move them to the other notebook

I've got, for example, over 700 notes in a notebook that I want to move to another notebook to merge them. But one can only select 50 notes at a time. That's laborious! There's got to be a better way isn't there?

I'm afraid moving large numbers of notes is still best achieved using the laegacy version. Even moving 50 notes will leave plenty of time for making a cup of coffee or three  as it locks up your computer for several minutes.

The problem with the recommended solution:
When you move a note to an new notebook, the modified date of the note changes to the current date.

So when you drag all of the notes from one notebook to another, all of the dates of the notes change.
That's exactly what I don't want - to lose the chronology of the notes.

Which I why I would want a merge function. To not lose the dates of the notes.
