Too large PDF in iOS

When I use a PDF file with Mac OS  Big Sur 11.00.1 I drop the file into Notebooks. This shows and works very well. However when this syncs with my iOS 14.2 EN, the PDF become very large and I can't view it or resize by dragging. I haven't had this problem until recently. I am doing something wrong?  Grateful for help please.

Does this occur with any PDF file, or just specific ones?

Hello thx for your reply.

Doesn't seem to happen each time. The problem in question was ok on Mac EV but in iOS EV it was enlarged so I could only see one letter. Tries to remake the PDF and do the same and the same thing happened.

I have stored another pdf on Mac then iOS without any issues. So its a problem that happens some times and not others. Strange.

Probably the pdf is crooked, like a bad page layout or font.

Try to open it on the Mac using the Preview app. If it shows fine there, and save it by using Print, then save as pdf.

Thank you, yes this would make sense. I had previously  opened it on the Mac as you described but with the same result. Even rescanning the document produces the same result. All other PDF used in this manner have been fine. I am not sure why this is, but I will move on.
