  4. Shane D.'s post in "Content not supported" (Tasks) was marked as the answer
    Hi there,
The placeholder message you're seeing is because the Tasks feature has been officially released on the newest versions of Evernote. (To update your app to access Tasks, see Update the Evernote app .)
Do not delete the placeholder message block, as it contains your task data. Updating your app will refresh the placeholder block to show your tasks. Also, if you are using the Web Client, you can switch from the Classic Editor and it should resolve the issue.
If you've already deleted the placeholder, check your note history to recover it.
Please keep in mind, a subscription is now required for some advanced features of tasks, such as accessing tasks from the central Tasks view, setting a due date, or adding task reminders.
If you'd like to continue using these features, you need to upgrade your account to an eligible subscription plan. To learn more, visit Tasks Overview

  7. Shane D.'s post in Update: Apple Silicon M1 version of Evernote 10 was marked as the answer
    Hi All,
I wanted to provide an update on Evernote's compatibility with the new M1/Silicon Apple devices.
Currently, Evernote uses a default emulator to run on M1/Silicon devices and we are in the process of enabling Evernote to work natively on M1/Silicon devices.
While this shouldn't cause any large scale issues that are specific to M1/Silicon devices, it is possible that isolated startup/crashing issues may appear until we are able to implement improvements that will enable us to work natively on silicon based devices without emulation.
If you are using a M1/Silicon Apple device and are unable to start Evernote, or it continually crashes, please try the general troubleshooting steps below.
I recommend you export any local notebooks and unsynced notes as a backup because they have not been synced to our server and will be unrecoverable after this procedure. For detailed instructions on exporting your notes, please see:
    https://help.evernote.com/hc/articles/209005557
    Then follow these steps:
If Evernote is running, press **Command + Q** to quit the Evernote application Download App Cleaner (http://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/) When the download is complete: open the zip file, then open the App Cleaner app Open the 'Applications' folder in your Finder and drag Evernote to the App Cleaner window After App Cleaner searches for and lists all related files, click **Remove** Right-click (or **Ctrl + Click**) on your Mac's Trash and select **Empty Trash** Reboot your computer Download and install Evernote for Mac (https://evernote.com/download/) Drag the Evernote icon into your 'Applications' folder Open Evernote and log in to your Evernote account
If you are still encountering issues, please follow these steps to rebuild your Evernote for Mac database:
**Export unsynced notes and/or local notebooks (if you have any):**
Select all unsynced notes, or each local notebook, then right-click and select **Export Notes…** Choose 'Evernote XML Format (.enex)' next to Format, then **Save** the file to your desktop      * Detailed instructions: (https://help.evernote.com/hc/articles/209005557)
**Next, move your existing Evernote database:**
Open Evernote for Mac Press and hold the **Option** key on your keyboard, then select **Help > Troubleshooting > Open Database Folder** (keep this folder open) Select **Evernote > Quit Evernote** from the menu bar Move the numbered folder from the database folder to your computer's desktop Open Evernote and log in to your Evernote account      * If you have more than one numbered folder, move each one
Evernote will download all of your synced notes from the servers and create a new database on your computer. You can then import any exported notes by selecting **File > Import Notes** from the menu bar.
If you are still encountering startup/crashing issues on your silicon device, please contact Support for further assistance.
We will follow-up here once we have a progress update native support for M1/Silicon devices.
  8. Shane D.'s post in Evernote for Android won't load (SSL issue Error) [2/1/21] was marked as the answer
    Hi All,
Thank you for reaching out and for letting us know.
We are able to confirm that there was a service issue on 2/1/21 that was preventing Evernote for Android from working/syncing properly.
This issue may have also prevented templates from loading on other devices/clients.
However, we believe this issue is now fixed, and you should now be able to use Evernote for Android, and/or templates on all devices.
Please create/start a new thread if you are continuing to encounter this issue.

  10. Shane D.'s post in Validate your email address - is this legit email? was marked as the answer
    Hi there,
Every email that Evernote sends is cryptographically signed and sent from IP addresses we publish.
If you receive an email from one of the domains listed below, you can trust it:
@account.evernote.com @comms.evernote.com @discussion-notification.evernote.com @emails.evernote.com @evernote.com @mail-svc.evernote.com @messages.evernote.com @sparkpostmail.com @notifications.evernote.com @nsvc.evernote.com If you receive an email that looks like it's from Evernote, but the sender address is not one of the above domains, we did not send it and you should delete it.
I hope this helps to clarify!

  14. Shane D.'s post in Why has the price in my country gone up? (BRL, GBP, INR, JPY, TRY) was marked as the answer
    Hi All,
You may see a higher price on our website than you’re currently paying, but rest assured you will continue to renew at the same price you’ve been paying as long as your subscription remains active. Only new subscribers to Personal will be charged the new price.
Our new Personal plan is priced higher than Premium used to be; however, the Personal price is in-line with prices around the world, reflects the additional value over Premium, and takes additional local market conditions, such as extra taxes and fees leveraged on subscriptions, into account.

  15. Shane D.'s post in Why didn’t I get automatically moved to the new Personal plan? was marked as the answer
    Hi All,
Because you’re paying a legacy discounted price, you were not automatically moved to the new Personal plan. If you’d like to access the new features, you’ll need to upgrade at the current price of $7.99/mo or $69.99/yr. Please note that if you decide to upgrade, you will not be able to go back to your legacy subscription and pricing.

    @dustov
Thanks for reaching out, and for letting us know.
Our development team is aware of this issue and working on a fix. This issue happens when the left navigation menu is minimized and clicking on the green **+** button menu results in a pop-up that cannot be closed. While absolutely not ideal, here is a workaround that resolves most cases:
    1. Go to **File > Sign Out [name]** from the menu bar.
    2. Select the "Remove my Evernote data from this device" option, then click **Sign out**.
    3. Restart your computer.
    4. Sign back in to Evernote.
Please let me know if you're still having trouble after following the steps above.
