Tag text within note

I have a lot of test which would be great of I could tag Parts of it

I'm not sure if tags within content can be supported by the Evernote architecture   
I've inserted my own tags (keywords) which can be accessed using the search feature

You can roll your own.  Start them with the underscore and then use the search bar to find notes or Ctrl+F to find within a note.  _TagName for example.  FWIW.

Underscore works as a tag name prefix
Other special characters are dropped; sadly, one of the failures ub  Evernote's search feature
My tag names are prefixed with various special characters that fail in a text search
