(Archived) How to delete a notebook

I just bought and downloaded Fastever and it created 8 new notebooks.

I want to delete them from everywhere. How do I do that?

You don't say what client you're using. Windows desktop, you right click the notebook & an option is delete entire notebook. I think the web vwesion is similar. I'm not at my computer right now so can't confirm that.

Yes.

If you want to keep the notes, then you need to move them elsewhere first.

Strictly speaking, if you delete a notebook, the contents will go into the Trash in Evernote. You could then recover them from the Trash, or you could empty the Trash to permanently remove them.

(We used to just completely remove notes when you deleted a notebook, but this caused too many "oops!" moments, so now we make it a bit harder to permanently get rid of a note...)
