Search function

Hi, I have been using onenote 2016 for several years.

Like it because the ability to search for words in documents.

Is is possible to do the same in evernote? 

I usually take screenshots when doing research online and then I simply search for a keyword to find the correct screenshot.

Evernote has an extensive search feature, documented at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828

Words in notes are indexed for searching.

Images are ocr'd and indexed; including handwriting

PDFs are ocr'd and indexed; a premium feature

Documents (Office/iWorks) are indexed; a Premium feature

Yes.  PDFs are searchable with a Basic membership if you OCR them yourself.  Office documents require a Premium membership to be searched.

So if I take a screenshot (see attachment) I would be able to search for 'like' for instance using the premium version?

Image OCR is a feature for all account levels

I used a screenshot of your image and "like" was recognized and indexed for searching

Yup, in this case anyway.  May take a few minutes to get the results back from the server.
