mtott 0
Suddenly I am unable to drag PDFs into EN. I get the error message: "The file xxxx could not be imported" "It may be damaged or use a file format Evernote doesn't recognize". I have tried to drag PDFs that I have previously successfully dragged into EN and get the same message. I also did a reinstall of the latest version and same problem. I am a Premium member and I was away for a couple of weeks so maybe there was a major update? I also notice my Notebooks are different color. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,667 Posted September 24, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted September 24, 2017 There were several updates in early September, the latest (AFAIK) being I don't recall any of the comments in that or previous release notes mentioning PDF issues. It is possible to attach files to notes in other ways than drag n drop - have you tried attaching from the note toolbar, or sending by email (if you're a paying customer)? Link to comment

I'm not seeing the problem on my Mac; I can drag pdfs in and out of Evernote I'd suggest you open a contact Support and open a ticket Contact Evernote Support Link to comment

PHILLAVP 0
Hi All, Had this issue as well, Turns out I didn't have a default inbox folder set. Once I set this it fixed the issue:) Evernote - Preferences - General Link to comment
