Search bar in notes

I suggest that you keep,the search bar open and not have to slide down to open it....every time I look in notes I need to search.  Why should I first have to,open the search bar..sometimes I get into notebooks by mistake and have to get back to notes and then open the search bar...too many steps to do the search...a primary aspect to Evernote.

What search bar do you mean.  The search bar is always visible best I can tell.

Is this an IOS request?
There is a filter bar presented by sliding down the note list in a notebook 
It gives access to filters by search box, tag, or reminders

There's also a search icon in the sidebar with a visible search box
