Windows Client Absolutely Broken

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am very new to Evernote, but I seem to be having difficulty in every way possible. Aside from the fact I get asked to input a password I was never given and cannot complete setup for my two factor authentication, I have another issue.

I cannot upload my recording of my screen here, I will leave a link to view it...

Summary of issue:

When opening the desktop app (Windows 10) and clicking on "sign in with Google", The window has 0 ability to take my user input other than allowing me to type in my email address.

Screen Capture "Evernotefailure"

P.S: I am not allowed to submit a support note, apparently? Please assist. Thank you!

Hi.  Not quite sure how you got to where you are,  but I'd suggest you uninstall Evernote from your computer and sign up via https://evernote.com/

You'll be invited to download the software again,  and to install it with user details already in place.  (You'll still need to log in after a restart..)

@Plungedcashew Thanks for the report.

There is currently a known issue that is not allowing users to sign in with Google. Please use the Evernote email address and password option. If you have never setup an Evernote password, you can create one using the reset password link here: https://www.evernote.com/ForgotPassword.action
