I live in China BUT want to see EN homesite in ENGLISH

lometogo

Idea

I have the singularly unfortunate situation of living in mainland China. I need to go to the website but cannot get it in English – it always defaults to Chinese. Who can help?

Also, if any EN personnel are reading this, it would be GREAT if you put a button on any non-English Evernote homepage (IN ENGLISH) that would automatically take the user to the English website.

Thanks

I moved this thread to Evernote Web product feedback so it would have a voting button (top left of the page) - I'd agree actually that Evernote web could usefully have what many websites have - a 'language' button at the top of the page so you can set which language you'd like to see,  irrespective of where you are in the world...

Evernote has a presence in China called Yinxiang. Depending on where you are located, we may auto-redirect you to our yinxiang site, which is exclusively in Chinese. There may be a banner that pops up that allows you do avoid this redirect - we're looking into it. I know we also allow you to switch to our "Evernote International" service on this page app.yinxiang.com/Login.action

We'll look into this a little further and I'll update if I have more info. In the meantime, I know some browsers offer the user the option to translate pages (e.g. Chrome).
