(Archived) Do revised notes count as new notes?

Thank you.

How about counting as part of your lifetime total?

Susanne

What's that? EN has a monthly upload limit. That's it. If you upload 50 mb every month for a year, you will have all 600 mb in your account. There is no "lifetime limit" where you get cut off after X number of gigs.

If you meant by 'lifetime total' the total current limit of 100,000 notes, then a revised note is still the same note it was when first counted, so I think the answer to your question is 'no'.

A new note counts against the 100,000 limit.

Editing an existing note does not change the total count of your notes.

By the time you get even close to 100,000 several years from now, Evernote will undoubtedly have increased the limit.

Currently, each Evernote account is subject to the following limitations:

  • 100,000 Notes; each note can be a maximum of 25 megabytes (mb) for free users and 50mb for Premium users.
  • 250 Synchronized Notebooks (including Notebook Stacks). All 250 notebooks can be shared. There is no limit to the number of Local Notebooks (which aren't synced) you can have.
  • 10,000 Tags.
  • 100 Saved Searches.
