Missing tools on top of keyboard when editing note

Hello,

I have missing toolbar with formatting, checkboxes etc when I'm editing my notes.

I'm using Evernote on my Honor 8 with Android 7, Evernote version 7.12 and Gboard keyboard.

Hi.  Press the "A" icon you see at the top of the window.

There is no A icon. Where did it go. I despise the "clean" look where nothing is visible.

Have you tapped the 'edit' button?  Toolbars aren't fully visible when just browsing.

that "a" icon is a pretty poor choice for editing tools. what UX review and user testing did this go through?  I found this answer thankfully after many frustrating attempts at editing.  Should not need to google how to edit a note in a note-taking app. It should be intuitive.  Just some feedback to the UX team.

The tool bar keeps disappearing when I am editing. This is RIDICULOUSLY frustrating.

What version of the Android app do you have? Is it the upgraded v. 10? Because that same thing is being reported with v. 10 in the Windows desktop program and in the Web client.
