can anyone tell me how I change the date format on my notes to show the real date created / modified rather than the message "two weeks ago". I tried to manually tag notes using (Control + ; or Shift + Alt + D) as shown in the manual: these didn't work.

Which platform and where are you seeing this

The date/time is stored on the note metadata

Within the note text, command-shift-D works on my Mac

In Windows go to Tools - Options - Note and check Always display formatted date.

Thanks, but I use the web portal and so there isn't a Tools option that I can see

I found the solution, there was an info 'i' toggle that I had completely missed.  It provides the information.  I missed this the first time around, should have looked bit harder.
