It would be nice if there was a way to sort a folder by Title, Date Created, etc. with the use of a key stroke instead of having to mouse up to the top of the folder list and go through the pull down menu.  Any chance that already exist?

On a Mac, you can assign a keystroke to menu items usin System Preferences > Keyboard > ShortcutsScreen Shot 2017-01-06 at 8.56.56 AM.png

I've never done this before.  What is the "Menu Title" need to be?

You can see in my example, I created ^U as a shorcut for Date Updated sequenceScreen Shot 2017-01-06 at 11.41.50 AM.png

Menu Title is simply the exact wording you see on the various menus

I got the Title and the Date Created to work perfectly...Thanks!

I can't get the Newest to Oldest to work though.  I typed in "Newest To Oldest" and used ^N.  What am I doing wrong?

Is that the exact wording for the menu item?

I had "Most Recent to Least Recent", lowercase "to"

You are right, but when I change it, it still doesn't work.  I even deleted it and created it from scratch.

Can you post a screenshot of your shortcuts

It looks good to me
I entered it on my Mac, and it worked

Some ideas,

- use a different keystroke in case of a conflict

- reboot your Mac

I tried the reboot...no help.

I tried some different keystrokes no help.

Frustrating that it works on yours but not mine.

One last question:  Is there somewhere to get a list of the shortcuts built into evernote?

I appreciate your help, it has been great.
