hmm. That is very bizzar. I am not sure what to do. Is it just one note book or is it all notes? also could you clarify on what you mean by not actually spaces.

@Andis& @conant. I know this may be bit late but try updating. if not you can always pull a support ticket for the problem. I can see this would be a great problem of it copied uncontrollably and it also decreases you monthly sync amount.

@DaveGey It may be that some of the commands contain characters that Evernote thinks is formatting data such as ## turns the line into a title. Press Ctrl+/ and go to autoformatting and see if there are any characters that could cause problems. Another way to solve this is simplify formatting by selecting the text and pressing Ctrl+Space see if this works and be sure to reply if it doesn't. Best of luck.

This is so true, I timed it and it took 20 seconds just to go to all notes and then another 10 seconds to load all content including tags for v10 and up to 5 sec for v8.13.3. They have really outdone no one on this update. Not only is this only for android 10+ which undermines them saying that they are trying to make one Evernote for everyone (yes @Shane D.). The support is bad and the api fails when used in 8.13.3. Hopefully this is only the start and that they can turn things around which they are starting to (hint. home and the upcoming features such as *****) . So stay for the ride @vaggosk7 , @Alxa and @johnwch . Mabey we will see a mighty elephant in the future

They should always notify you automatically @Biobiol, there is no option to customize the notification, as they don't have the settings yet to customize the levels of the notification. Hoping this will come soon as i like to customize them to be silent. if you have problems you could open a ticket

@rickmooreThis is just an alternative solution but you may have been pressing Home (the keyboard button) or your keyboard is pressing the key randomly. This has had happened to me so this could be a solution (probably not but jus so you know).

Try uninstalling and installing again @paiger. Evernote is not doing well with images there are so many bugs related to just images!

PNG 53kb @Mike P , I have more png that are larger than this but display correctly. Also, @agsteele I made a new note and added that image in and i have done nothing to it, nevermind change the image for another, so I am not sure why it is acting like that. It displays like that on snippet view ,card view, as well across all devices and even in Home:

I have some PDF's and this does not happen to them. Its an image and I also have lots of Images but's only on this note/Image.

This is a quite serious dysfunctionality, users of Evernote use Evernote for its note taking and syncing, and if you lose notes in the process this is quite a serious matter. Ian has emphasized that he wants to get Evernote right for its users and focus mainly on Sync uses. These issues need to be flagged straight away because these issues are issues that destroy the purpose of Evernote. There should be more focus on support for all users. Don't you agree @gazumped. Also @Kellyevernotehelp you should post this on the Possible bug issues: Possible Bugs/Technical Issues - Evernote User Forum. However lucky for you there are lots of good users here that are here to support you. Think of us like Evernote support @Kellyevernotehelp

My note image icon is not showing up on the snippet view. Is this a bug?

Wow, This is not new for me but 3 gigs... I actually don' know what happens to make this occur but the way I have dealt with it which is 3 times in 2 years is by stopping/ End task the service and if it does persist like yours is doing, setting the priority to low or below average, does sort the issue out most of the times. This may help @Luis Medina. Also, consider downloading Evernote from website rather than the MS store. I know this may seem scary for some people but the MS Store is a big waste of space, CPU, and essentially RAM. This is just general advice but looking at you spec's you probably don't need to bother. best of luck.

What are you trying to change? You should visit: Account Summary (evernote.com) This has most of the settings that you may need @yon1111. If its something else be sure to tell. also on a side note, while I was trying to check : my Preferences disappeared!!! I don't know if this is a bug or intentional.

Normally I would say update to the latest version @Joshbr32 but I have updated to the 10.6.9 and this does still occur even still. It happens and you have to re-click it a lot of times for it to work and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Some advice @Joshbr32and @PinkElephant there has been countless studies to show that those who rely on spell check become more reliant and more illiterate in spelling and grammar without it. What you could do is use the fact that it still underlines it to show the spelling is wrong, then use your own knowledge to correct it. I know this seems tedious but it is worth it long term. You could try it until they fix the issue at least.

I am a new user of Evernote but don't let that fool you for less experience. I have had a delve into the history of Evernote and now the upcoming future of Evernote. I have noticed something. Ian you always say in every interview and blog that you are trying to get Evernote right for the current users, so in essence you are trying to make Evernote better at what it already does. Well, Ian(even though you may never read this) I have an idea for you that could help advanced this new Evernote for existing users in ways that you may not have thought of. To be concise: The request is that you should be able to embed files and other notes into notes them selves. I know (and understand) that you are able to attach them but this will take that further and implementing windows in notes where I can display other files and notes will be a great idea to further enhance Evernote for what it does and what it will be able to do. This kind of works like how you can view pdf's now but the functionality should be opened for all files. a case example: I have a spreadsheet. I embed it into a note, now I can edit it from the note. So in essence i have spreadsheet functionality within a note! Why this may help you? Well I feel that Evernote is getting better and into better road where they are listening to the users more than before and in implementing this i see no loss. This opens up a large possibility for all users of Evernote from those 1% to the 10% and to the 89%. I don't know if this is a original idea or not so forgive me if someone had already though of this.

I have been using Evernote for a few weeks and i love it but the android version is supper laggy when it comes to writing text and the biggest elephant in the room for me is the work chat. It is unusable, me and my friend are trying to communicate with each other and the delays in the message time is astronomical. I send a message and 20n mins later he receives !!!! That is unusable. Anyone Help? edit: The chat problem is for all platforms, android, web and windows( I don't use iOS). I use the web one more frequently.
