  1. Problem solved. Thanks for the assistance @gazumped and @ferol 🙂
  2. Will I need to uninstall my old version first? Or will 10.78.2 install over top of 10.77.3 ?
  3. When I click "Check for Updates" Evernote indicates that I am up to date at Ver 10.77.3 Did you have to download 10.78.2 from the Evernote Site?
  4. This issue just started for me as well. I updated to 10.77.3 on Feb 24 and all of my bullets have been displaying just fine up until just now. All of them (I use bullets extensively) throughout my database are now showing the weird combination of symbols. Is there an expedited fix for this coming? Or can I do a global font change or something? I primarily use Evernote on my Win10 desktop computer.
  5. Thanks... doing "Quit Evernote" by itself did not actually get me back... I had to also sign out and then sign back in. So I'm all good now. My Evernote is no longer displaying the new UI... phew! And just an FYI... even though the new UI is no long showing, my app remained at the latest 10.71.2 version...
  6. How do I revert back? The new UI is still showing in my Windows Desktop machine. I have tried opening and closing the app several times and the new UI won't go away. One point of feedback to please consider...
  7. That totally worked... everything back up to speed. Thank you for very much!! Can't for the life of understand why customer support was not able to guide me though this fix 🤔
  8. Me too ... "Unbearable" is how I would describe my experience for over a month now... with my Win10 Desktop Evernote V10.66-5 installation (Paid Personal Plan). Btw, I always apply the latest update when prompted within the app. Support was completely unhelpful, and this was after having to wait over 10 days for them to respond. Very disappointing because I have had great experiences in the past, which would have been before BendingSpoons took over. That being said, I see that others are not suffering like me with speed and useability issues. At least this gives me hope 🙏. Please can anyone offer me suggestions on how I might be able to get back to normal? I am literally having to go do something else (multitasking), while waiting for Evernote to perform simple tasks like adding a tag, embedding a small image from my clipboard, moving a note to a different folder, etc., etc. And then often times after the spinning circle finally finishes, the intended action fails... or worse, Evernote completely crashes. Also... doing simple searches is hit and miss to put it nicely. "Unbearable" actually does not even begin to describe the pain I am experiencing Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Besides Roam and Obsidian doing well with their neural network functionality, another tool is TheBrain, which has been around since 2009.
  10. That is a very "flat" image example of the neural network I showed. A tool like that provides a ton of useful functionality (imo). For example... The size of the dots and linked clusters identify emphasis on topical areas that you may be researching... kind of like how word cluster infographics show what concepts or keywords are most important or most used. You can also use color coding of the notes to help you visually hone in on where you have the most amount of connections between notes. Then you can zoom in on the tool, and/or use filters, to upscale your node clusters. With zoomed in views, you can choose to have your note title text displayed below each dot, or maybe you just want to use the hover title display feature. When you find the note that you may be looking for, you can click to open it... or click to have a popup excerpt show... all the time being able to seamlessly back out to the neural network again, so you can continue on with your quest. Basically, this takes relational databases to a whole new level of functionality that goes way past just having a traditional keyword search tool. Not saying that this would replace keyword search, especially the Evernote search which is second to none. Also, those mostly-single, un-linked dots around the outer perimeter of the the neural network, represent nodes that are for the most part orphaned ideas. As you revisit these notes over time, it can become apparent that certain ones should be linked into specific cluster that you are working on elsewhere in your database. You can simply drag then onto another node to form the link connection which would then automatically populate into those Backlink and Outlink dropdown box I suggested in my first wishlist entry. I'm sure other members here could add some more use cases... would love to hear them!
  11. What would be great enhancement to this new Backlinks feature is to have another drop-down list at the top each note (just like the Backlinks drop-down list), but this one would list all out going links from the note you are on... both internal links as well as links pointing to external sources. Evernote already shows the clip link up at the top, if the evernote was clipped from the web. That clip link could be part of this new "Outlinks" drop-down tab that I am suggesting. Hopefully I described that in a way that makes sense. And since I am already in "Wishlist" mode ... the next development I would love to see is to have some sort of visual or graphical representation page/interface that gives you a 30 thousand foot view of all the notes in your database and how they connect to each other. Obsidian does this really well with their dynamic representation of a neurally connected network... like having a digital 3rd brain where all the nodes are clickable (true bi-directional linking).
  12. I also like having a floating scratch pad in front of all windows... but with opacity control. When the scratch pad is not active, the opacity automatically shifts to something low, like 20% so that it's position can be seen on my desktop monitor, but see through enough that the underlying app/window is still visible. Then when I mouse over the scratch pad window, or start typing in it, the opacity goes back to 100%. Also, I would like to be able to create multiple (tabbed) scratch pad notes. I am constantly jotting down quick notes/tasks/reminders (on scratch paper) throughout my day, that I don't want to give much thought to in the moment. I then come back to my list of scratch notes later in the day (or next day), when I have time to process them more thoroughly. And please remove the text amount limit.
  13. Not working for me either on Firefox and chrome... exactly what AJ2449 said is what is happening for me too... I submitted a ticket still not heard anything back.
