Oh my gosh, I also add my thanks to Promosinc!!! This issue has been hindering me for well over a year!! I had submitted a support ticket to Evernote with no luck from them in solving it. I was seriously considering dumping Evernote, and I was one of their earliest users - going back almost twenty years!! Thank you, thank you.

I have had been unable to clip to Evernote on my Android phone for a long time, I think since they did their software revamp, with the symptoms you describe - the Notebook field flickers with "Loading", and if you hit Save, it says "Error Clipping". This has been through multiple versions of Android and Evernote on two different Google Pixel phones - a 4a-5g, and a 7 Pro. I sent a support ticket in, and they expressed sympathy but gave no timeline for a fix.

I have had this problem ever since Evernote did their major revamp, with two different devices (Pixel 4a 5g, and Pixel 7 Pro), and numerous different versions of Android. I can't clip on my phone to Evernote any more. Very frustrating. It forced me to start using Google Keep instead. I have kept Evernote around because I have so many notes in it, from being a long time user back to the early 2000's.

I totally agree! Here it is October 2023, and you still can't turn off printing a note title. Evernote, please fix this!

Thanks for your reply. Are you sure that this content is OCR'd? I did not think that it was. Even if it was, it does not seem right that EN gives different results when searching All Notes vs. when searching just within one note. This has happened to me many times.

Thanks for checking into this. I agree with your sentiments about being better to find hidden content. It is strange, though, that it would be found when searching All Notes, and not within just a single note. I have experienced this behavior many times.

Yes, my issue was the "false positive" when searching All Notes. The correct result was obtained when just searching within the note. I have experienced this often - where the results of a single note search differ from that of the All Notes search.

No, if you look at the screenshot I provided, there was no typo. I searched for "asila". And this was just one example. I have gotten incorrect search results many times.

Evernote often has incorrect results to searches done over all one's notes. Here is a simple example. I searched on the term "aslia", and it returned one note. But then when you search within that note, it shows there are actually no matches. The search within a single note seems to always work. I have attached two screenshots - one showing the global search result, and the other showing the conflicting search result within the one note. I have also attached an activity log. I just tried using Notepad++, and got the same problem.
