That's a bummer
I've been waiting for that too. They recently added open attachment support, so I guess encrypted note support is soon to follow.
I don't know if note history supports encrypted notes. But you can try that.
To get to the note history, open a note on your desktop client, and click on the "Info" button. There you will find an item named "View History".
You may be able to restore a previous version if it is supported.

I don't think that's much of a problem. There are a lot of sites that implement keyboard shortcuts (Gmail, twitter, Pocket, this box I'm using to write my reply), and there doesn't seem to be a conflict with the browser's shortcuts.
Agreed! For me, a keyboard is second nature, and I don't use the mouse that much. I find that using a mouse interrupts my stream of thought :-( I would also like to add that keyboard shortcuts for navigation and search would be an excellent addition.
