I don't either on rereading it - must have been an interference by the autocorrection.
The second sentence describes how to do it: Select ALL, the copy and paste. No shortcut needed.
Since nobody else has posted here, I conclude this is the ultimate answer.

No, there is no database debugger.
You can only purge the existing database, and download it again.
In general it needs time to download a database. If you switched recently from legacy, and only open the client when you actually use it, it may be the initial download has not even completed.
Let the client running all the time, in the background. It will take hours and on larger accounts days until the download has completed.
The GitHub project is a good alternative. Since it fetches all data through the API from the cloud server, it doesn’t depend on the local database.

All correct, and it fits my experience as support manager.
What I observed (with a raised eyebrow): Last summer BS was hiring for support. This then stopped. Currently they are hiring again, both support specialist and support manager (although it is not visible whether it is for EN or one of the other branches, and maybe they don’t even go by product on the 1st level).
This is a weird pattern when you intentionally turn a longterm business upside down, technically and in the plans & pricing area.
What doesn’t match at all is aspiration (documented by a top of the market price level) and execution (by an ongoing support downfall that is now going into the 9th consecutive month, when I take August 2023 as a starting point of the support blackout).
And yes, that a management issue.

Yes, it looks like a staged rollout. I think the client software contains the code. If it will show is triggered per account.
The new team announced last year in a blog post that they will integrate this ability into the code. It has already been used multiple times, for example with testing the new mobile UI.

Actually it works on more platforms than EN itself, due to the fact it doesn't need an installed client. You can even install it with minimal overhead in a Docker.
Everything is described on the GitHub page. On a Mac I need to install Homebrew first (if it is not yet installed). Through Homebrew then the EN backup project is installed. It is executed through the command line, or automatic with a little script that is triggered in intervals.

Take it as it is - or send your opinion at the feedback address provided.
You have all information you need.

1) Nothing was killed. The v10 app is new. What’s not there was not coded. And THIS is a deliberate decision for simplicity.
2) I doubt after more than 3 years without this option there is any real need to add it. At least you should have better arguments when you tell:

Support is quite inundated - we as other users can't really help you with this. We can just ask you to be patient, or use the ticket list on the help pages (requires a login) to look after the ticket.
For the future these steps can make sure your account is safe:
- Store the 2FA codes safely and where you can access them, for use whenever the dynamic code is not available
- Make sure your phone is safe, using the different locking options and biometrics. You can in addition set up these measures for the EN account as well if you wish (Remark: I personally don't use it)
- Use an Authenticator that can be use on several devices, not only on a single one. I personally use Authy as independent authenticator app, synced over several devices.

I would agree if you said „spreadsheet“. Excel is just a piece of bloated, paid software.
A free alternative is LibreOffice, for example.

Files came up for me without much (maybe I quit the app, and restarted the Mac). Setup can behave differently, and not any hiccup can be foreseen.
Where I agree: QA is not visible in this chain of releases. They seem to release, and then fix what’s coming up.

Given how the updater usually keeps all clients current, I doubt you did just now get that option. This was 5 releases back - introduced with 10.81, we are now on 10.86. Maybe you didn't notice it before. They have stuck it into the 3 dots menu, probably to include the web client, but I would not have looked it up there by myself if I had not known where to go.

We should not forget some aspects here: 1) Lower level plans as well keep some users away from the higher level, 2) every account comes with a base cost impact, that does not alter a lot with account sizes.
If I take a typical low budget account (say 50% of Personal), in terms of the bottom line impact it is not in the middle. It is a lot closer to actually break even, than to the higher level plan. You can probably afford to loose 10 users from such a budget plan, if this means 1 or 2 fully paying users either stay with the more expensive subscription, or don't downgrade over time.
It's not only the number of users that is relevant.
What bugs me more is how will be the strategy to actually win new subscribers. "Will be" because currently I mainly see them correcting mistakes from the past.

If I remember well, we had this very same discussion when the Home Screen (ver. 1) was released. EN made the app to always open on Home, and users complained about it until a settings option was introduced. So open with Home, or where you left.
New team, lost experience, and here we are: Discussions about a toggle for starting with or w/out Home, ver. 2.

And I see no harm in reminding you that we should not extend threads with repetitive information - and avoid double positing of the same information in different threads as well. I see your intention to do good, but in effect it makes already long threads longer, without adding anything new.

The option to set an own standard font size was probably one of the most requested features when v10 launched.
As we can see today, it has not yet materialized. Send your request to the feedback-address. Explain why it would be important for yourself, and probably for many other users as well. It is not just an issue of aging, it has an accessibility impact for every user with impaired eyesight as well.

The same just has happened again - after updating my iPad to 10.86.0, the offline toggle had been resetted to OFF.
That’s really becoming an annoying habit …

You can align left (default) center or right. Done.
If you need finer control, enter a table, make the columns the width you want and place the picture into a table cell. This allows as well to control the picture size - it will be the width of the table column.
These are the options. For finer layout control use a word processor or a page layout software.

I assume you use a desktop client (the slash shortcut is not available on mobile). But anything else, like a version number or an OS ? Would be really helpful to exchange some ideas about what may be wrong.

What do you want to tell us ?
That there is a difference between the Personal and the Professional plan ? Granted, this anybody can look up on the website. I ask myself: What do you want to tell the users of this forum ? Anything applicable, like a use case or similar ? Just wondering …

This is a dilemma: Collapse and don’t show, extend and show.
Obviously the decision is that serving the search is more important than keeping a user view (collapsing is just that, a modified view). And no, there is no memory for the collapsing status, with an „undo“ function.
Personally I don’t think there is an easy way out that serves both goals.

The oldest iPhone able to run EN v10 is the iPhone 6S / 6S+. It will go up to iOS 15.
But I wouldn’t recommend it (had it a while as my backup phone) for EN: It struggles with the app and is slow. OK for retrieval, less for active use.
I think you should watch out for an iPhone 11 or up. Can be refurbished, but then check the battery or get it replaced if at or below 80% health.

I took a measure. On my iPhone 15 Pro Max "Your Evernote" takes up 4mm out of 15.5cm total screen height. Which is 2.6% of the screen height, not 20%.
You can take this answer as serious as I take your rant.
