  1. What a brilliant response. Why do you even reply? This thread and forum is about improving moving forward not jerks running users off with "maybe you should be looking somewhere else". When you run out of intelligent responses that add to the solution you can just not reply and move on because "if it's not for you..." is about as juvenile a response as you can make, it demonstrates you're out of ideas to contribute so do us all a favor and don't troll treads where people are looking for positive change with your negative infantile responses that you've made 200 times before, its boring.
  2. Was actually hoping for some replies by real people, not fan boys. Everybody already knows what your replies are going to be before you type them...
  3. So the answer is no then. That's really too bad. What a waste of everybody's time. It paints them like the small business that empties the suggestion box into the trash whenever it gets full to make room for more suggestions.
  4. Wondering if Evernote ever actually implements any user general feature requests? Looking at the list, it looks like one of the most popular feature requests has been there for over 11 years!!! The top 5 look like they have been requested almost weekly for the last 7 years!!! That's pretty mind-blowing and depressing to see them ignore items requested over and over again for over a decade. Why even ask? Seems one of the best ways to improve your product in the markeplace is to implement features the users are requesting, especially for 11 years. What type of message does the company send to it's users by asking for improvements and then ignoring them, seems almost diabolical. Seems it would only be logical and a no-brainer for them to be working on the top 5 every year.
  5. Yeah, that's a super useful mentality. 🙄 Plus 3,030,301 for nesting, the entire world revolves around nested file systems and evernote just ignores it. Will not cry but say I told you so when this company eventually goes BK and people 10 years later reminisce about "do you remember that program evernote? yeah, I do, was pretty good, but man they were ridiculous about lacking simple features like nested file structures, whatever happened to them?"
  6. The 3rd highest request and still nothing? New CEO should read this forum and he would look like a genius for simply giving his customers their top 10 product requests, seems like a no-brainer. The world revolves around data trees visually as nested trees, time for the new CEO to look at how tags have been a poor man's workaround for 10 years with users continually requesting nested notebook tree structure. Evernote is so buggy and has destroyed so much of my data over the years I leave the least amount of data in it and export the majority of my data to archive it, but it sure sucks to have to recreate note books everytime you import data back into evernote. Some really simple fixes and features seem so rudimentary for a product as old as this one.
  7. More than once using the webclipper in Chrome it will hang up for awhile taking to "sync", after it's said it has clipped, slowly just grinding away. When I finally get it unstuck, I'll find 20-30 copies of the new note have been created. Had this happen only since the latest update. Very buggy software.
  8. Yes, have uninstalled a few times over the years. Google Chrome. Don't use other browsers, chrome is my goto browser.
  9. Hi Super Guru, I don't believe It's URL specific, it seems to happen 100% of the time with any webpage. I checked into this further and I left out one thing, it's when I remove the formatting, right clicking on the note after its been clipped into evernote and choosing either "Simplify Formatting" or "Remove Formatting". For instance CNN.com... I attached 3 screen shots...
  10. Every note created with the webclipper using "Simplified article" puts two lines at the bottom of every note, (see attachment). It's been like this for every updated version of evernote for at least 2 years. It puts... "Measure Measure" ...at the bottom of each note
  11. Just for the record it's called "Format Painter" - copy formatting from one area of document and paint it on another. Hard to believe evernote doesn't have this feature. um.. actually not really hard to believe based on their lack of implementing even the simplest of improvements
