Hi, sorry for the long delay, but I have been backwards and forward with support team - sadly a lot of time was completely wasted with the first-tier team, although once the problem was upgraded, I never got anywhere, and decided to back to the Legacy version - which has been a huge improvement. The internet speed is 30 meg down and 6 meg up. As the problem isn't present with the legacy version I think there isn't a speed problem. A solution (which isn't a real solution!) is to stop using the tablet and only use my Windows laptop. Thanks for the interest shown. Doc.

Hi thanks for the suggestions. I added 72 words to a note, pressed the green tick, after 2 minutes I was offered the minimise button, which I pressed and the green triangle (does that do anything? ). Thus was still there after 3 minutes so I went to the setting and synced through that. Total syncing 3 1/2 minutes. Perhaps I'm not been giving it time enough to sync, although 3 1/2 minutes seems a long time Doc

Using my Samsung Tab S6 Lite, apart from as others complaining of being very slow, it is losing 70 - 80 % of the updated information being added to notes. I've tried a support ticket which first suggested installing the latest updates, which I thought I had, but there was a later one. This didn’t solve the problem.t tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still not solved the problem. They suggested checking out the notes history. The lost information was not there. Any suggestions please. Doc

I've noticed that a few of my notes within a Notebook don't have Tags. Is there a way to find notes that don't have any tags? In my Genealogy research Notebook with 9,500 notes in it, I use the tags as my primary search. Thanks Doc

I've tried some of the things suggested and got the difference down to 46 - I've contacted EN support, and they suggested some ideas - but none of those worked, so it is back in their court. I'll try locating the 46 notes and create new one from them to see if I can get the databases to completely agree on numbers. Thanks for the assistance. Doc.

That is a good idea, (gazumped) but I do know of one note that hasn't synced and tried re-editing that note to see if would then sync - it didn't.

I don't have any shared notes. I tried removing the data twice once with the latest W10 version - and after nearly 4 days of downloading the data again - I was missing a few under 200 notes. I removed the latest version and reinstalled version 6.25 and spend another 4 days downloading the data - this worked better but I'm still 75 notes missing

Hi, I have a different number of notes on my desktop to my laptop. The amount on the desktop matches the web version. The difference is 75 less on the laptop. I do have a large number of notes (desktop 21,165 laptop 21,090) so checking off each note would be extremely time consuming – Any suggestions to solve this. Thanks Doc.

I wish I could get an answer to solve 'few bugs' my syncing problem got upgraded on the 4th September by the 9th not one acknowledgement, suggestion, or a solution. Doc

I've had the same problem - I raised a support ticket - after a couple of suggestion they gave up. Never found a solution, although it is happening less now. I'm always concerned at downloading their latest version, with what new bugs it will bring! I use EN for my research on my genealogy hobby - I really can't imagine how businesses get on with such buggy software. Doc

Thanks. Getting to that 'ding' is a problem I was hoping to solve as I have over 20,000 notes. Perhaps, in a new iteration of version 10 we will get the 'ding' and the few other things we are missing! Doc

Using the latest Android version on a Samsung S6 lite. Inputted 2 lines of data into a note and V10 produced 3 versions of the same note. How do I stop this happening? Doc

Yes, I know this has been discussed in many posts - but not found a solution. I have tried leaving the computer logged into Evernote overnight - not one new note was synced. I've reinstalled the software. I've rebooted. Any further suggestions please? Doc

Got a reply from EN support - not the one I was expecting "Sometimes the small note differences like this can be calculated weird on different devices if you have some shared notebooks. It's even possible that this is actually a counting error and the notes are actually still there. I am glad to hear that the difference is only 4 notes (No mention of the 20,924 files different!) though and our team is aware already of issues like this. They are currently working on a fix for this." This is the end for me - I've tried exporting to Nimbus and Onenote - neither worked. I will move to another note app and use EN to search old data - not as if that works either - that is another support request, which is waiting for an answer. Thanks for the suggestions Doc

I will raise the 'feature' with the support team, but I can't see how they are NOT aware of the problem. What I can't understand is how other users who really depend on the EN data like businesses and serious research projects manage. For me all the data supports hobbies - mostly genealogy. I really hope Evernote get their act together. For me I'm trapped by Evernote, I've tried time and time again to export my data into other programs like OneNote and Nimbus, but I never got more than half the data across - and much of the exported notes are gobbledygook.

Speed test results show 29mb download and 9mb upload. Downloading the cache I had everything turned off I could. I suspect the problem is a bottleneck to the island of Cyprus, where I live. Doc

Thanks - I will try reporting this to the support team - but not holding my breath. For most of the requests for help, I had another one 2 weeks ago, and the response was the usual "uninstall, delete the Evernote folder and reinstall". I don't know if it a very slow internet connection, but with 20,000 notes the rebuilding of the Evernote folder take 5 days. Doc

Hi, I'm running the same version 10 of Evernote on my laptop and desktop computers, but the cache files in the Evernote folder if different by some 20,000 files - Why would the desktop have so many more files? Thanks, Doc
