  1. Yes, that is what I meant. I am a very long time user, 3 years is to me...recent. And I made the step to v10 not so long ago, very reluctant, this issue is one instance of why.
  2. Thanks for the information. It is a bit confusing: to submit a 'Ticket' usually means direct follow up by the companies/services involved. To clarify, this is not a new feature I am talking about, it was always there until recently.
  3. Hello, you can search the forum and you will find already plenty of references to this issue, I am just trying to get an update to assess the status of the request. It is not about searching, it is about sorting. Any 'status' related set of tags can profit from a sorting feature (for example, GTD based workflows). Likewise, anything associated to a stages in a process (stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, and so on.) By simply sorting by Tags you would easily see how far you are in a given process for a any given item (a contact, an order, whatever). Simple, but highly efficient, believe me, I use it all the time.
  4. Thanks, for your input AlbertR. I share your hope.
  5. No, your reply does not confuse me at all, rest assured. I took the time to read some of your posts in this forum. It seems you adopt this peculiar tone quite often. You should look into it.
  6. You are right, I could elaborate. But I just won't. As Evernote user since 2009 (Premium since 2011), in the top 1% of note creators in 2022 and in the high tech sector since 1993 I think I know what I am talking about. Little can really confuse me by now at least it is, well,...confusing.
  7. I am still puzzled by the evolution of Evernote: from a really good product to a, to say the least, confusing story.
  8. @agsteele Thanks. I am aware of the version issue, I stick to the old one because last time I checked a lot of features had not been made available yet after the major reshuffle some time back. What I don't understand is why the links have stopped working all of the sudden, when I made no change to my setup whatsoever (at least that I am aware of). Weird. I can only think of some Windows update that somehow has interacted with my version of Evernote. But not nice when thing that have working for a long time do not work anymore...and without explanation.
  9. In case it helps: This is the generated URL by the desktop app: https://www.evernote.com/l/ABpe29VHbZZMMrcBv4Diax1/. This is the generated URL by the web version: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s26/sh/5edbd547-6d96-4c32-b701-bf80e26b1d4d/c77c572b6699806f44f11e46e2bab40e The first one does not work, the second one does.
  10. Thanks for replying Mike P. Please look at the following screenshot of my very first note: When I paste the generated URL with this command I still get the error I reported earlier. Same result when I use the option you are using. My desktop application is version: 6.25.1.9091 (309091) Public (CE Build ce-62.6.10954). I did not have this issue until a few days ago. I have used this procedure a million times before. Thanks for looking into it.
  11. I have remarked a similar problem. If I use in the desktop app the option Share > Copy Share URL and I paste it in the browser I get a page not found error, as follows: Oops, we encountered an error. Sorry, we've encountered an unexpected error. However, the link generated in the web version for the same note (which looks completely different) using Share will provide a correct link.
