Maybe my English is not that good, and yes: I mean the usual way of "sharing" content on ANDROID to the Evernote app: no clipping popup appears as it usually does!

Sharing to Evernote does not work with Firefox, with Chrome and does not work to share a simple JPG of the device gallery to Evernote.

Sharing in general is working, but not sharing to the Evernote app.

I'm having that problem, too, on both of my Android devices: Sharing to Evernote does not work in the latest Android update.

Is anyone else experiencing almost instant loss of data in notes? I have had this issue for a few days: I create or edit a note, move on to the next note that needs editing and when I return to the previous, most of the information I had entered is simply gone. There were two notes that I retyped three times before creating new note with a slightly different names and deleting the original notes. This is extremely annoying!

The notes had not been in existence long enough to have a history, apparently, since the history returns only the mutilated version. Is there a way to do a hard "save" as soon as a note is completed so that I don't have to recreate it several times?

Or better yet, a way to fix this annoying bug?

    Windows 10
    Evernote 10.56.9

This has been happening to me lately, too: The content of notes I write or edit isn't there when I return to that note. I'm using Evernote 10.61.5.

And my chosen workaround is to have a Google drive folder (other cloud drives are available) to which I can share my clips.  Evernote has that folder marked as an import folder,  so anything posted there gets posted into my account - pretty much like an old-fashioned clip.

Can I ask how you were able to set up a Google Drive import folder? I get an error message that says, "Evernote does not support import folders with Google Drive" when I try to select a folder in Google Drive.

Same issue. I can't believe they haven't resolved this yet. It's not just happening with clipping, but ANY kind of new note. Quick, audio, photo, clip... all get the red screen.

    Uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled. Nothing works.

    Pixel 7 Pro.

I don't know how the Google Play store works, but rolling back Evernote to the previous version would be a good, temporary fix.

I got 10.51.2 yesterday.  So far I can share from my browser to Evernote without trouble.

Sometimes these issue arise after a version update.  I'd recommend uninstalling the app and then reinstalling and configuring your personal settings and see if that resolves the issue.

Thanks. Uninstalling and reinstalling Evernote fixed the problem.

  6. Evernote for me just got good again on both Windows and Android, and I have no plan to change note-taking apps. At least not unless something important breaks. After Evernote 10 arrived, I tried many different note-taking apps, and they all failed for me.

I hope we hear more from Evernote and Bending Spoons soon.

Suddenly one of my notes is shared in Evernote. I thought I accidently turned on the sharing function so I just turned it off. Then, a few days later, it was shared again. I thought my account was hacked, so I changed the password and upgraded the security, it didn't work.  I used sharedate:* and found that there're some notes were shared without my permission. Why? Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you.

This happened to me. I solved the problem by disconnecting from IFTTT.

Yes, there's is a customize button in the top right of my screen.

Try the standard tab close, clear browser cache/cookies, close and reopen the browser, log back in.

I found the problem and the solution: If you have more than 10,000 notes, as I do, you have to check a box in settings that enables V.10 for Evernote for Web. I did that and all is great now.

  9. I'm lost. Are home dashboard and widgets available on Evernote for web?

All I see is the generic notebook list, my notes list, and notes. There doesn't seem to be a way to customize or change that or to use home dashboard (if that feature is available.)

I think there's supposed to be a customize button in the upper right, but I don't have that on any of my machines.

I'm using Evernote web with Chrome on my Chromebook and Windows machines, and it's the same for both. I have Evernote Personal.

    Thanks.

As with @Dave-in-Decatur - I was a hold-out,  but v10 is now my daily drive;  it's far better now than it was at launch,  and Evernote are never going to unravel their new structure.  If you want to see improvements,  you need to be specific about what is not working for you...

It took a while, but Evernote got its mojo back. I now like Evernote 10.

My two Chromebook and one Chromebox all run Android 9, which means that I, too, can only use the older Android version of Evernote.

For whatever it's worth, I'd like to see the new Evernote for Android work with Android 9, too.

I generally prefer Evernote Web, but it would be nice if I were able to use Evernote offline on my Chromebook (with the newest, re-designed version). Currently, Google Play still installs the old Evernote for Android before the re-design, on my Chromebook (Acer Chromebook Spin 514). Any news on when Chromebooks would get the re-design that mobile devices get?

    Evernote Chromebook: 8.13.3

    Evernote Mobile: 10.26

    I had lost hope but...

The new Windows app seems to be really, really good.

I have not touched Legacy for a week.

And I started to look unfavorably at my switch to Nimbus.

If they can cure their Android app...

Maybe I will switch everything back to Evernote.

My feeling exactly: Windows for Evernote has finally arrived. I've been running Nimbus concurrently with Evernote and I won't be using Nimbus anymore.

Evernote for Android is still not fully fixed.

I just thought I'd update this: I've tried everything I can think of. I uninstalled and reinstalled Evernote on all my devices. I switched to Evernote Legacy on my Windows PC, then back to the latest Windows version. But the problem persists: Random notes get created with shareable links.

    I'll contact support.

I figured out the problem and the solution: IFTTT was the cause.

I disconnected IFTTT from Evernote 24 hours ago and I've not had a shareable link created since.

Yes, that's exactly what's happening: Random notes have shareable links created along with them.

These shareable links are created from various Android devices.

I have removed all old versions of Evernote from my Android devices (about five) and am running the latest version of Evernote on each of these devices. Today I uninstalled the old version of Evernote from my main phone, installed the latest Android version, and it happened again a couple hours later.

I haven't been able to figure out a pattern, or how to stop this. Creating shareable links with random notes just started a couple of days ago.

I'll give it a little while longer; maybe somebody else has had this problem. If there's no solution, I'll contact support.

If I correctly understand the posting, all notes have the option „Anybody with that link can access the note“ activated.

OK, this is not the expected behavior. You can decide whether you try to resolve it yourself (uninstalling app and data, reinstalling), or contact support.
