Hi, It seems I missed one folder and now I was able to re-install and log in: Check that your content is present on Evernote Web version Go to File Explorer Search for %AppData% folder In this folder, look for Evernote and delete the entire folder Reinstall Evernote Hope this works for others here that experience this problem too. Hi tomasek340, this actually worked for me now. Maybe this folder was not deleted after all in my last uninstall attempt. So, for me I was now able to install Evernote once again and hopefully it will work stable for a while. Thanks.

Same problem here - this morning suddenly I got this "exit code: 1073741819" and I tried the complete uninstall, deleted all temp files etc etc. Then I re-installed, and the same exit codes appears immediately after the re-install (I did not even log in). This might be the end of using Evernot for my case. Used it for more than 10 years. 4th og 5th total re-install after crashes this year only so I have lost so much working hrs on this and that is the opposite of the reason to use this app. And lack of support as I read about here does not reflect the pretty expensive all Evernote is. If anyone gets help or are in touch with support / have any info to share, please share it. //BB

Same problem here and a COMPLETE uninstall does not help... Same error code appears after re-installing the program. I did all this two times today, and nothing helps.

Same problem here - suddenly today my Evernote crashed and I spent 2 hrs trying to delete all files and reinstalling two times. I get this same error code "Exit code 1073741819". The same appears after the full uninstall, deleting av all temp files +++ Very irritating. This is the 4th or 5th time this year I have had to completely delete all of Evernote spending hrs to be able to find and delete all files. Too many bugs and errors here... used evernote for many, many years. Time to deliver a stable version of this program?

Hi - when I logged on this morning, it started working again So then same as earlier when it also just started to work again, it just took a day or two extra this time. Thanks for the answers.

After the update to version 10.66.5 a few days ago I am no longer able to create shareable links for my notes and neither able to send the note via email (share it to an email address). I toggle the share button to "Enabled", but there is no response, and after a minute or so, it returns back to the Disabled state without the shareable link generated and to load as it normally does. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I rather avoid the full uninstall once more (did it a few times the last year). I have experienced this problem several times before, but it usually gets fixed within short time. It really destroys my workflow as I now have to generate a pdf and share that one which is a really slow way of communicating with my team with 10s of shared notes daily.

Hi Jon/t! Actually after recent update(s) / new versions the solution is solved here and my Evernote works much, much better. I did first do as you suggested to remove all, (absolutely all) Evernote files using a few tools (it took several hrs). But still after this and doing the re-install the program had the same issues. But then a couple of weeks later after the two new versions of the software were automatically updated, Evernote now works very good. Hopefully it will remain this way for a long time now. Cheeers

I've been using Evernote's desktop version for about 10 years and now, 50.000 notes later I'm about to leave if there are no upcoming solution to the extreme slow loading of notes, slow deleting of notes, slow sync that causes loss of data when I switch between notes. The earlier versions of Evernote was extremely efficent to work with and the fast note taking, sharing and updating was very valuable. Now it often takes me 30-60 seconds to load a note, same with deleting a note. Sharing often does not work or respond, until I try to retry sharing it. Evernote often locks and shuts down with error message appearing "Restart" or "Quit". Then I get a javavsript error message on restart. Of course I have the newest version. Of course I have been in touch with Evernote earlier. And all "tricks and tips" in this forum read and tested. Anybody out there who knows if there will be solutions for this? I feel like I've been trying to resolve these issues from time to time last years, so now I guess it is time to get a final fix for these problems or to stop using Evernote.

This happens to me as well all the time - more and more recently. I do not open the notes in a "new window", just work with them with the list of notes in the left bar. Then I navigate back and forth between notes, and suddenly, daily, what I wrote just minutes ago is deleted / not there when I return to the note I just updated. Daily Evernote user for more than 10 years, so Im not new in the game.
