(Archived) Sidebar: Don't expand tags when I select a saved search

Hi,

I have a lot of tags. And even though I try to keep them organized in a 2-level hierarchy they're still a lot. So I started making saved searches so that I don't have to deal with tags except when I'm creating them. But unfortunately, whenever I select a saved search, the tags folder in the sidebar expand in order to show all selected tags. But this is annoying because the selected searches go out of site below the bottom of the screen.

It would be great if there was a way to avoid the tags folder from expanding.

Or at least a way to move the saved searches folder to above the tags folder.

Is there?

I think the easiest solution would be to move the saved searches above tags.

When I click on a saved search with tags collapsed, the tags section expands and selects whatever is under the mouse, ignoring the saved search I clicked on.

Thank is indeed a behavior also get. I'd say this can be considered a bug. I hope this is read by someone from the dev team.

Trying to use evernote with lots of tags and saved searches for GTD is very annoying with this bug.

+1 for this change. I use a lot of tags and only one notebook. This change would make saved searches much more useful and helpful.
