Desktop app - ports

Hi all,

I have a few people using EverNote and it works great on my machine, however I have another person in the office who is behind a proxy and when they try to Sync the desktop app it does not work however when they take it home it works just fine, I am not allowed to bypass them through the proxy so I need to know what the ports and addresses are used so I can put in bypasses for those specific connections.

 

Can anyone help?

Hi.  That's the sort of question you'd need to ask Support.  AFAIK Evernote don't provide the information - or they haven't in the past anyway.  Contact support here.  If you're a premium user you should be able to get some chat support.

@Dax_ Evernote explicitly uses ports 443 and 80 for connection. You'll will need to have these ports open for connection. If you run into any issues as mentioned above, please open a support ticket. Hope that helps!
