(Archived) ANNOYING NEWBIE

Just found and registered today thanks to the BBC. uk.

I have Windows. Have restarted computer but could not find Evernote. Does Evernote start up automatically, or do I have to log into it each time?

I am hoping it is automatic, otherwise just cannot see myself using it that often.

Nothing on my desktop that shows Evernote, although no problems when I go to progs and login.

Did you download & install a desktop program? EN works under various platforms, which is one of the appealing features. You can access via the web client (using a browser.) If you have a Mac or PC, you can download & install the appropriate desktop version here:

Donwload and install the application, start it up, then go to Tools > Options > General tab and select the 'Launch Evernote at startup' check box.

if he has a autostarting browser, then he could also enter that URL as his home-url, to start EN with every boot. voila.
