qqq000 2
When I drag a pdf into a note in Evernote, where is it stored? Is a link created to the original document? Or it is stored in a cloud server? Or is it duplicated on my computer? If it is duplicated on my computer, where is that file? Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,280 Posted October 6, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted October 6, 2015 The PDF is stored in your EN data base on your machine and in the cloud if you put the note in a synced notebook, and on any phone/tablet devices where you use Offline notebooks, again, if the note is in a synced notebook. In Windows go to Tools - Options - General to see the file location of your data base. Not sure on Mac. If you want you can delete the original PDF since it is in EN. There are multiple threads on this forum re backing up your EN data base if you are interested. Link to comment
