abbyjoy 0
I have a Galaxy S5 and would like to have the ability to open evernote and dictate a note, or add to an existing note, without looking at my screen. Is that possible? I've been searching for over an hour!thanks in advance Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,692 Posted September 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted September 10, 2015 Hi. Voice commands do work, but putting a note together might be a stretch - how about voice-commanding an email to your Evernote email address and setting the subject line to "<title> <@notebook> <#tag>"? evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/23480523 Link to comment
Rob Freundlich 146
Great idea, gazumped. The only catch I can see is that voice input on an android device doesn't have a way to enter the @ or # symbols. If I'm wrong, someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE correct me :-) Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,692 Posted September 20, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted September 20, 2015 Hmmn. That seemed like such a good idea for a while... didn't get around to testing it out, so missed the small, but significant, logic fail there... Link to comment
Rob Freundlich 146
It's not a logic fail, it's an implementation fail on Google's part. Would it really kill them to implement things like "at-sign", "hash-tag" (or, for us dinosaurs, "pound-sign" or "octothorpe"), and various other punctuation symbols? Link to comment
