(Archived) how to import onenote files w/o having onenote?

hi all,

i tried to import some old onenote (*.one) files, but failed, because EN said, i need ms-onenote installed :-/

i approved that while reading this post. this is a very sad solution. at least for me, now.

does anybody know, how i can import onenote files *without* having onenote installed?

is there a freeware 3rd-party app maybe?

i think, i cannot afford to buy onenote, just to import all my old files.

also, if i buy it, i will use it

any ideas?

I think you can install a 60-day evaluation copy of OneNote.

You sure can. That's probably the best option for accuracy.

For reference for anyone else reading this thread, who may, for example, have already exhausted the trial period, or even for other purposes, you can try this, which is fairly good.

the project seems to be dead since a couple of years.
