samfemalevoice 0 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 sync failed you have reached the quota for your account? what does this mean because when I check on my account info I find I have not used my quota, so which quota is this referring to?
Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted June 15, 2015 Level 5* Posted June 15, 2015 Probably the upload quota. How close are you to your quota and would whatever hasn't synched put you over that quota? Go to list view and check the sizes of all notes with an * in the Sync column.

Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted June 15, 2015 Level 5* Posted June 15, 2015 Hmmm. Got me. You could try logging out and back in to see if that clears the problem.

Level 5* gazumped 12,224 Posted June 16, 2015 Level 5* Posted June 16, 2015 Hi. Check your notes (and your upload limit) via EN Web by logging in here in a desktop browser - https://www.evernote.com/Login.action That's effectively the server version of your account and the 'final' word on upload limits. If a note is on your local device but not on the server, it's saved, but not stored on the server, so not available on any other device. If you're using a phone or a tablet for your note taking that's not good. You will be able to search for content, but the search may be limited because the server won't be able to index or OCR content - you're relying on the processing (and battery) power of your local device. If your note shows on the server, then things are working as they should. Check your upload usage to see how much you have left. The limit is exactly that - like a "bridge out" sign, going past it can lead to problems...

Level 5* gazumped 12,224 Posted June 16, 2015 Level 5* Posted June 16, 2015 Ah. Didn't mean that you would be able to see unsynced notes listed in the Web client, but if you sort the notes by created date or updated date you'll be able to compare them with the desktop / mobile client version(s) to see if any recent notes are missing. You may be able to compare note numbers in notebooks too. The web version is definitive measure of your upload status - if it says you're out of space, you are out. No clue. If your last note was created 3 months ago, you cannot, by definition, be over your monthly limit - unless the account is being added to by emails, or another app in some way. If you really had no activity on the account for months and the web client still shows you over the limit I'd suggest you raise an account access issue by choosing "login/account access issue" in the first dropdown after logging in here > https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action Premium / Business users also have access to a Chat option (7am-7pm PST weekdays) - click 'continue' on the support page after logging in. -or reach out on Twitter @Evernotehelps (include the forum thread URL for extra background)

Deleted Notes in Trash will still try to sync. So if you have some large notes in Trash, then empty the Trash. EN Trash is at bottom of Notebook list.
