Going back in a note on MacOSX

When I am reading, I prefer to have notes open in their own windows to maximize the reading area. In EN for Windows, when I am in a note and I click on a link that takes me to another note, I can press the < and > buttons to go back and forth between the notes in the note window I am in.

The Mac client has <> buttons, but not in the note windows, just the main window, so if I am in a note, click on a link, I cannot figure out how to get back to my original note easily - involves going to the main client window and finding the note again.

Am I missing something?

Thanks. The Mac in general (not just EN) seems to be way more dependent on keyboard shortcuts. In Windows, they are there for convenience, but are rarely the only way to do something.
