Ein Doofus 8
There is an annoying "related to what you're working on" pop-up that can only be turned off by Premium users via the Context drop-down. Free users simply don't have this option in their menu bar and are thus forced to upgrade. Rather than being disrespectful to your future customers, why not just FIX IT? And no, the registry hack doesn't work for everyone so don't waste your time posting it. The Evernote team could easily fix this. As a Software Developer I strongly believe that this behavior is intentional and it's a sleazy way of bullying users into purchasing the Premium subscription. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,039 Posted January 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 10, 2015 Evernote have acknowledged there's a bug which causes the pop-up to appear too often, and it will be fixed (they say) in the next update... Link to comment

Ein Doofus 8
@gazumped, IT IS NOT about it appearing too often. It is about the fact that non-premium users CANNOT TURN IT OFF period. Link to comment
