Is there a hot key for inserting check boxes? If not, it should be created

When I paste a list into a note and want to add a check box to each line, it takes forever...

On Windows if you highlight all of the lines and then click the check box icon, all of the lines get a check box.  Not sure if it is the same on the Mac version, but you could give it a try.
