Not showing the notes

Evernote is not showing the notes. What is going on here? I see cards I see listings I see tags creation and link but not the bloody note itself. 

 

What is going on?

I have the exact same problem.  In late afternoon, everything disappeared on EN on my Mac.  Oddly, I can still see the stuff on my ipad and iphone but the EN application on my mac is messed up.  I see all the titles of the notes and they still exist.  But they are all blank.  I am premium account holder.  Have been calling Evernote and emailing them for hours but they refuse to answer or respond.  Makes me pretty frustrated as a premium user that they will not even respond.  My entire life is in my hundreds and hundreds of notes but it all just disappeared.  Does not give me much comfort for how I have turned my whole life over to a company that doesn't provide a phone number or respond to emails and customer tickets.  Very disappointing.

Okay, I just figured it out on my own.  You should go to Finder, then Applications, then locate the Evernote App and drag it to the Trash.  That will uninstall the app.  Then, go to App Store and download a fresh version of the app.  Then, log in with your username and password.  Magically, all of your stuff will be there.  Too bad I had to figure this out on my own and I cannot believe a company charging monthly fees does not have anybody in customer service to even respond to chat or phone requests...

I figured out that the notes are NOT gone. It is just taking forever to load.

 

Just to load the page title took 2 min - really - like 128 seconds to be precise.

Then 2-3 min more to load the whole page.

 

I will try the reload.

Reinstall worked for me too.

 

Still I hate this all white interface -

 

Can I just go back to previous version?

 

But at lease I can grow my article fonts in the preferences.

The support forum here exists to help users with queries like this,  and there have been a lot of posts on the update.  A little searching would have gotten you to the following information...

 

(and yes the forum search is a little basic,  but your search-engine-of-choice is usually a good way to find posts too)

There were some bugs with 6.0,  that are gradually being fixed.  To express your feelings on that,  use this thread.

To fix the initial problems with 6.0 and the later releases,  it's important to download the latest verions of Evernote from their website rather than from the App Store.  The latest version I know of is now here - https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/78578-evernote-for-mac-603-released

It's also advised to completely remove the current installed version of Evernote and to perform a 'clean' reinstall,  after backing up your database and exporting any local notebooks or unsynced notes - https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/77444-how-to-completely-remove-and-reinstall-en-mac/

If the new version is unusable,  it's possible to step back to an earlier version of Evernote after completing the step above - just find an installer for an earlier version.  It's not necessarily a good move to go back though - updates include tweaks and fixes for earlier bugs that you'll be missing.  Check these posts for more information - https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/77171-how-do-i-revert-back-to-previous-version-of-everynote/

I thought that I had the latest v. There was nothing to indicate otherwise - i.e. no "software update" menu item that I could find. (I did look)

I don't think you should require dry one of your millions of users to read some obscure forum topic before they upgrade. If it is so important to perform a clean instal then your installer script should do so.

Not on Yosemite - still on Mavericks. 

 

Very unpleasant experience. I work on the computer and do not like the idea of having to spend almost 2 hours of MY time fiddling with SW.
