Rynn21 0
I know the notebooks are automatically sorted alphabetically, but when doing a search within each notebook how do you search by a through z? Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted October 20, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 20, 2014 You mean sort by note title? Depends on which Evernote client you are using (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, web, etc). Link to comment

Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted October 20, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 20, 2014 No way to do that, per se, as far as I know. The closest match would be to use "intitle:a*", but that will search for any word beginning with the letter 'a' in your note titles. Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted October 21, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 21, 2014 Obviously, you can search for all Notes in a Notebook using "notebook:NoteBookName", and then apply the sort by Title that Gaz discussed. You can also change the sort order in the List dropdown menu. Link to comment
Rynn21 0
This post can be closed. I figured out the solution. I made a Notebook Stack and every Notebook within that named A-Z individually. Works like a charm. Link to comment

I'm glad that you found a solution that works for you.Just be aware that while you can specify the Notebook to search within, you can NOT exclude a NB in a search. You can exclude Tags, but NOT NBs.
