For all notes starting with A (and B - Z)

  • Evernote > View > List View
  • click on "Title" in the grey header bar
  • scroll down the list until you find note titles starting with A
  • keep scrolling...

Obviously, you can search for all Notes in a Notebook using  "notebook:NoteBookName", and then apply the sort by Title that Gaz discussed.  You can also change the sort order in the List dropdown menu.

This post can be closed. I figured out the solution. I made a Notebook Stack and every Notebook within that named A-Z individually. Works like a charm.

I'm glad that you found a solution that works for you.

Just be aware that while you can specify the Notebook to search within, you can NOT exclude a NB in a search.  You can exclude Tags, but NOT NBs.
