Gerrit Verhaar 0
I have a laptop with Windows 8 and I use the desktop version of Evernote. But the Metro App is also installed. Does anyone know how I can remove the Metro App only? Link to comment

Gerrit Verhaar 0
Well the Evernote metro app doesn't uninstall. It only removes itself from the 'Start' screen. When I hit the Windows button and type in 'Ever' (to start Evernote) I can still choose from two applications: - Evernote (the Metro version) - Evernote (the desktop version) And it happens too much that I start the wrong one And apparently the Evernote Metro Application is still working on the background. Level 5* gazumped 10,425 Posted November 4, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted November 4, 2013 Weird. My W8 setup only has one 'Evernote' now. If you can locate the right version you can put a shortcut to it on your 'start' screen and your desktop for ease of access.. Link to comment
caneiro 6
Simple: 1 - From the metro start screen - hold your finger over the Evernote icon2 - A contextual menu will appear from the bottom with options - unpin from start/uninstall/resize3 - Select uninstall. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,425 Posted December 5, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted December 5, 2013 I use a Win 8 laptop with a touchpad / no touchscreen. Right click on the tiles does the same trick. Link to comment
