The new ScanSnap SV600 is a different type of scanner - it can scan books, magazines and even objects into Evernote.

No more chop 'n scan using dangerous book guillotines.

You can control how the book is cropped, how the edges are detected, and where the page break is. You can also control whether the scan has both pages together, or has one PDF page for each book page.

It has an optional automatic page turning detection setting.

It also can detect multiple documents with one scan - business cards for example!

 

When you scan or take a picture of a book, you sometimes need to hold down the pages to stop them from flipping up. The software will automatically remove the finger images!

Hi

 

will this scanner scan in receipts like from walmart and then allow you to search for one of the items on the receipt?

 

Also what is the warranty?

 

I am very interested in buying one of these but couldn't find the information above
