I swear with Google Notebook you had to have an "exact match" on search words. In Google, if you type in "netbook" and your note has "netbooks" -- no hit...Evernote "partial hits" work great.Thanks ! For English Words, it's good enough, but for Chinese words it does a bad job. Link to comment

We can't recognize foreign words because they're not in our "Dictionary". We have to go letter by letter on those, and they always get recognized as English words first. But, when we add that language into our database, you'll see words be recognized. So, since we don't support Chinese, nor do we claim to, our Chinese recognition isn't the best Link to comment
