(Archived) Note alias in notebook

Occasionaly I want to put a note in more than one notebook - would there be a way to create an "alias" for a note in a notebook? I like notes are "exclusive" to one notebook, sometimes it's better to have them on several.

Hi Erik.  What you're describing is pretty much what tags are for.  Need your note associated with more than one topic?  Tag for both.  You can then be assured that any changes will be available immediately to any search under either tag.

 

You could also copy the note - but notes A and clone A* start to diverge from the moment the copy happens,  and any changes to one will not be reflected in the other (unless you copy the changed version again,  or change the copy too...)
