(Archived) HOWTO: Find the text the OCR indexed

Hi,

Sometimes i make a picture of a piece of text from a magazine.

At home i want to make a text note of this text. The OCR of Evernote's server works fine to search, but

is there a way to look at, or select, all the text OCR had recognized?

Saves me a lot of time, instead of type it by hand

EN does not do image to text conversion of images. It makes a tree of possibilities. IOW, a photo of the word 'house' may be interpreted to be house and/or horse.

You will need to process the image with a 3rd party OCR app.

I use Adobe Acrobat, but there are lots of choices, most of them cheaper than Acrobat.

From the Evernote Note, you can right-click on the image and select "Open with..." to select your OCR app.
