(Archived) indexing text files

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong - but evernote Mac seems to be able to index doc and pdf files (i.e. find search terms within doc and pdf attachments when using the evernote program search box) but not .txt files. A bit counterintuitive?

I've recently copied over some files from notational velocity, and would rather not have to copy and paste the body of each file into a note....

You're correct, we currently don't index txt files as attachments. You'll need to copy over the info from the txts to their own Evernote note.

Can I suggest that that would be a useful (if rather niche) addition?
