TechBarber 100
I just updated my account to premium last night, so forgive me if this question is a bit "newb'ish". I've added a few PDF files to my Evernote account. One of which is the user manual for my car. If I go the the search box in Evernote (desktop app on Windows), and type in "wheels", it returns the PDF in my search results pane but it doesn't show me WHERE in the PDF that term shows up. Am I doing something wrong or is that just how it works? It would seem to me that the PDF would behave like other search results where any matches are highlighted yellow within the document. Level 5* gazumped 12,021 Posted August 18, 2011 Level 5* Share Posted August 18, 2011 I don't think we're quite to the point where Evernote can take you directly to the page, though if you doubleclick the PDF so it opens in a separate reader, you should be able to search again within the reader and jump to each mention of your keyword(s). Gordonrobb 2
Yeh, I just tested the same things. I think the search-able pdf feature in Premium is to be able to find PDFs that contain the text. Link to comment
