dav555 5
Hi,I currently have the following saved search:-tag:@Home -tag:@Waiting -tag:@SomedayI want this to show me everything that is in tag @Home but not in tags @Waiting OR @Someday. What I am getting is everything that is in @Home but not in @Waiting AND @Someday.Is there are way to do an OR rather than an AND in a custom search? If so how?ThanksMark Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted July 19, 2011 Level 5* Share Posted July 19, 2011 You can do OR operations using the search grammar (using the 'any:' search term), but unfortunately you cannot mix and match AND and OR operations in the same search. The only way that I can think of to get what you want -- and it's awkward -- is to make a temporary tag @WaitingOrSomeday, and tag all notes that have either @Waiting or @Someday, with that, and then use that tag to do your actual search.
