Finding text within domains does not work

Hi,

I can't just search for shazam to find the shazam links.

I have to write the following in full

https://www.shazam.com

And https://www.shazam do not works too ! the .com is important to finde the notes ! That is ridiculous.

I can't write the following either: *shazam*

This is very illogical that you can't search your database within the domains and you have to write everything out in full.

Evernote has never searched for characters within a string.  It can only find the beginning of a term.  See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828-Use-advanced-search-syntax for much more.

Unfortunately there is a point in this OP: Even if I add anything at the beginning of an URL (starting with https://…), it does not find it. Just tried on iOS, but I think desktop will show similar.

This seems to be specific to search on URLs. Because if I search for https:// only, I get many (all ?)  notes with an URL. But when I add more after this, I get no search hits. If I add text plus the wildcard *, I still get nothing.

To me it seems that the URLs content is treated differently to other strings, and not searchable even if one goes through the pains to enter it painstakingly precise. It still is not found.
