Ability to create a new linked note in 10.82.2

I really love this new feature, accessible using the / command or from the insert menu. But why does it not resspect my preference (text) for the format of Evernote links set in settings?

 

Answering my own question, I expect it is because the "Title" view is dynamic - it changes if you change the title of the target note. But even if I set my preference to preview (which is dynamic) I get still title.

I guess I will just have to change it from "title" to "text" when I want the link to have other text on the same line (my main objection to the title view, together with the double click required to open the link)

I'll mention this. Was about to report another thing I spotted where if you delete the linked note the title stays there in the original note and there's no indication its been removed.
