My Widgets removed from Home page - Android

Does anyone have any idea, why one of the most useful features, My Widgets, was removed as the starting page when you open the app on Android? Now you have to make 2 extra taps to open it. Doesn't seem efficient and well thought out to me at all...

Then it makes sense. I've been trying to send them an email to that address, but got the following message.
