octopusintell 5 Posted March 17 Share Posted March 17 Hi. Just updated my iMac to one with an M3 chip. Evernote desktop opens then closes with a warning "exit code 6" about 10 seconds in. Browser version is fine. Tried to reboot and update. Any one with any ideas? Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,189 Posted March 18 Level 5 Share Posted March 18 OK, then use the app AppCleaner to remove the complete install of the EN client. Restart the Mac, get the installer from the EN website, install, open, log in. When this has worked and you see your notes, give it a coffee break to run an initial sync (just a precaution). You can then use it, when unused let it run in the background for quite a while. It needs time to download all and setup the local database. Link to comment
amwls100 0 Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 Exit code 6 usually signals some kind of crash, but it's a bit vague. Have you tried reinstalling Evernote from scratch? Link to comment
