windows desktop app not syncing new notes

Recommended Posts

i'm using windows desktop app, ios app and browser app in parallel.

my windows desktop app does not show new notes created in other platforms.

workaround: if i do a search for "*" in desktop app, it recognizes that there were new notes created and shows them.

but this should be automatic, without me searching for "*" regularly.

Hi.  Device? Windows and Evernote version numbers?  And what's the exact procedure of you creating a new note and checking for it on Windows?  How long do you allow for the transfer?

Wow.  I created a new note on the web client and clicked another note.  My desktop client was also open.  It took a massive 8 seconds for the new note to appear on desktop.  Edits are faster.  (Win11 / EN10.79.3)

Creating on desktop and appearing on the web version - a bit longer,  10 seconds or so.

I'd suggest checking local housekeeping - connection speed / free storage space / other local user traffic - and maybe a clean reinstall?
