I need to undo an accidental task

I just hit a command key incorrectly and accidentally turned an important note into a task list. I need to undo this ASAP. How do I do this, and how do I permanently disable the Task feature?

 

I dom't want this mess cropping up on the other computers I use.

Hi.  Whatever your device has as an 'undo' feature is usually your best bet in this situation.  if you check in Note History you can step your note back a few days to before the change.  https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313858

I don't think you can but you can disable the two task related keyboard shortcuts which are probably the most likely way of accidentaly creating a task.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up copying the "task" to a text app, and redoing it, then adding it to Evernote as a new note. Good to know about the History failsafe.
